He was happy to report that the 7 water pumps and wells we donated are still working perfectly and serving its purpose to the delight of their farmers. Water supply is now abundant and close to where their crops are giving their farmers a big relief. They used to walk quite a distance to fetch water for their crops. He said that, though, the last Medical Mission we had during IPP Jerome's term was hampered by heavy rains they are basically a healthy barangay with only one reported malnourished child. A medical and dental mission, however, this year will give a chance to those who missed last year's mission due to the heavy rain. They are also one of the only two barangays, awarded a P140,000.00 cash incentive by the DSWD which they used in acquiring a tractor. Their Internal Revenue Allocation (IRA) increased from a mere P208,000.00 three years ago to P306,588.00 last year which is equally budgeted to the barangay needs. Our four scholars are now graduates and are now working and have been providing financial assistance to their parents. Their population is recorded at 486 just a little more than the 454 of 1998. |
