TUESDAY THAT WAS
Rtn. DAVE PARKMAN

It was group two turn to be in charge of the Rotary meeting.  Rtn. ALAN S.  was the Day Chairman while PD TIM was the Master of Ceremonies.  At precisely 12:30  MC TIM asked Pres. JEROME to call the meeting to order and get the ball rolling. After leading us in a short, but poetic prayer, Rtn. TERRY then turned the microphone over to PP PAQUITO to lead us in the Pambansang Awit.

Rtn. BONG welcomed the guests that were present for the meeting as well as the day's birthday celebrants, namely: Dir/PE RICHARD, PP ANDY (standing in for his Ann CARMELING) and A/Sec. FRANK (standing in for his Ann Pilar).  Once again we enjoyed two scoops of ice cream compliments of the celebrants.  Thanks guys, we needed that …

In continuing with a Fining Session theme started a few weeks earlier by Rtn. JERRY, the current Fine Master, PP CANOR, asked us questions about fellow Rotarians in our own Club.  He did this to see how well we knew each other.  Most of the Rotarians knew the answer, but there were a few of us who just could not remember those names.  There were the guys who had to pay the "big bucks."  Pres. JEROME during his President's Time continued with the game of "Name that Rotarian", as he gave his report. He also awarded three more plaques to deserving Rotarians who had been with the Club for more than thirty years.  Remember, these guys are the "Most Senior of the Senior  Rotarians."

A/Sec. FRANK was called upon to introduce our Guest of Honor and Speaker who was mistakenly introduced as "Jackie Chan", first by Pres. JEROME and then by A/Sec. FRANK.  I think they have been watching too many Jackie Chan movies or something….. Our Guest of Honor and Speaker was Mr. Jacob "Jacky" Kamm.  Rtn. JACKY is a member of the Rotary Club of Bauang and is Manager of Automatic Solar Systems & Alarm Systems.  He spoke on the subject of solar energy.

After a short open forum, the response was given by PD RAY  E.  The meeting was adjourned shortly before 2:00 P.M. which always makes the Rotarians happy.
