The meeting room had doubled in size to accommodate the anticipated crowdd for the day's meeting. Several Rotarians from RCSFU NORTH joined us in our meeting because some of their special guests, Rotarians from Korea, were also visiting us. It was a real international affair. It was 12:35 when the Day Chairman and Master of Ceremonies, PP SILVER asked Pres. JEROME to call the meeting to order. Rtn. TIM was asked to lead us in Prayer. It a truly an international prayer, as he prayed for many things. Rtn. BONG did an excellent job leading us in the Pambansang Awit. After a short luncheon period, Rtn. TERRY officially welcomed and greeted our guests and celebrants. Rtn. TERRY must be part Korean because he did such a good job pronouncing all those Korean names. The only celebrant who was present was PP BEN, who along with his Ann, Linda, was celebrated their wedding anniversary on Oct. 2. Pres. PABLO from RCSFU NORTH spoke briefly as well as one of the visiting Korean Rotarians. Let me take this opportunity to say thank you to Pres. PABLO, the Rotarians from RCFLU NORTH, and the visiting Rotarians from Korea for being with us in our meeting. All of you certainly added an international flavor to the occasion. During this Fining Session, A/Sec. FRANK's question dealt with Korea. It is not surprising that we know very little about Korea. The Rotarians had a good time trying to answer the presence of our Korean guests. Pres. Jerome was all smiles during his President's Time as he reported to the club various activities and accomplishments. PD RAY E. had the honors of introducing an old childhood friend of his as the Guest of Honor and Speaker. Our Guest Speaker was Dr. Herminigilda D. Salangad, Psychiatrist, RECOM 1. Dr. Salangad, who holds the rank of Colonel in the PNP, spoke the licensing procedure to carry fire arms. Her speech was short and to the point. Just the kind that most Rotarians like. PP VIR gave appropriate response and Dir. REX conducted his Rotary Raffle, and again, No one had the lucky number. The meeting was adjourned a little early at around 1:45 P.M.
