PROGRAMME
December 12, 2000 - 12:30 - 2:00 PM
Oasis Country Resort

The Day Chairman & Master of Ceremonies for the day's meeting was none other than PVP ARNOLD.  Welcome back PVP ARNOLD.  It is good to have you with us in our regular weekly meeting again after a long absence.  Pres. JEROME called the meeting to order at 12:30 and we were on our way as Rtn. FREDERICK was called upon to lead in Prayer and the 4-Way Test. Rtn. HARVEY was then tapped to lead us in the Pambansang Awit.
PP MARC job of being the official Greeter was relatively easy as  there was only a couple of guests and no celebrants.  Sorry, no ice cream guys….Pres. JEROME was a little surprised that he was called upon for the President's Time before the Fining Session, but that is what the program said.  The program did arrive on time this week, so the MC was just following the agenda. Nevertheless, Pres. JEROME did an excellent job, as he always does with his official reporting of RCSFU activities.
Auditor REGGIE was the Fine Master for the day. His questions dealt with a Christmas Trivia Quiz. Some of the questions were Biblical in nature, and some were not. Very few questions were answered correctly, but they seldom are. It is all done in fun and we often times lean new things. Good job, Auditor REGGIE.
To tell you the truth, I thought the Guest of Honor and Speaker was related to PP FERDINAND. The Guest Speaker looked like a carbon copy of PP FERDINAND.  I found out later that there is no relation. PP FERDINAND did do the honors of introducing our Guest of Honor and Speaker who was Fr. Pablo "Bong" G. Garay, Jr., SVD.  We did finally learn what SVD stands for, I think. Fr. Garay clearly stated the SVD official position on the current political situation in the Philippines.

After a very lengthy and productive open forum, PP IVES  was called upon to give the appropriate response.  I don't know why it was PP IVES.  Maybe it was because he could be the most "holy" among us. Or maybe God is trying to speak to him, or something...
