he meeting started precisely at 12:30 as the Day Chairman and Master of Ceremonies - Sec./PP TONY, asked Pres. ALBERT to call the meeting to order. All of the program participants were present, which is always a good sign. "BABY RTN". REGGIE led us in the Pambansang Awit and ''BABY RTN". ALLAN recited a very poetic prayer and did a real good job with the 4-Way Test. Keep up the good work guys! After a short luncheon period, "YOUNG RTN". JUN T. welcomed our visitors and celebrants to the meeting. The birthday celebrants were PP CARMELING, spouse of PP ANDY and PP PILAR, spouse of A/Sec. FRANK. It was PP ANDY who suggested ice cream to be given only to those Rotarians who made it to the meeting on time. A good idea, but I think eventually, all Rotarians were treated to a double scoop of ice cream. Thanks guys for the special treat.
PP RUFI was the Fine Master for the day. He had a positive theme which I really liked. The question was, "Tell us something GOOD that has happened to you lately." Isn't that neat? We had some GOOD and POSITIVE responses. Sec./PP TONY'S report and Pres. ALBERT's report sounded like Part 1 and Part 2. I guess that, it should be that way. RCSFU is involved in so many different activities and projects that more than one person needs to report them to the Club. At any rate, both did a very good job of keeping us informed on what is going on.
Last week's meeting was a CLUB ASSEMBLY in preparation for the visit of our District Governor today. As is the usual case, each of our Club Directors gave well prepared reports on the accomplishments and future plans of their respective Avenue of Service. Each report was very concise and organized, that included visual aides which is good for those of us who need pictures. We are indeed "blessed" to have such capable leaders. Keep up the good work guys! Our speakers were: 1. Club Service Director ALI 2. Community Service Director REX 3. Vocational Service Director/PE JEROME 4. International Service Director RICHARD
After a short open forum, the meeting was adjourned at 1:50 P.M. and we all returned to our daily activities.
